Recommender system for 293 hand-curated TV Shows, using audience reviews only. No conventional algos based on plays, trending, etc.
Uses Claude to analyze viewer reviews, extract tags, match and find similar shows, with an emphasis on surfacing hidden gems. It’s also got an audience critic persona page so that you can view shows popular with people w tastes like yours.
Proof of concept work aimed at proving that what people write has all the signal of conventional recommender algorithms.
